Lesson 1.4: More About Toolbars

   

 

 

1.                   

Click the Start Button.

 

 

2.                   

Click Internet Explorer.

 

or

 

Click Programs, and then click Internet Explorer.

 

 

3.                   

Click the right mouse button in the empty space to the right of the Standard Buttons toolbar, and then click Links to uncheck the option and disable the Links toolbar.

 

 

4.                   

Click the right mouse button in the empty space again, and then click Lock the Toolbars to uncheck the option.

 

 

5.                   

Click and hold the “handle” on the far left of the Address Bar and drag it above the Standard Buttons toolbar.

 

 

6.                   

Click the right mouse button in the empty space to the right of the Standard Buttons toolbar, and then click Customize… The Customize Toolbar dialog box will appear.

 

 

7.                   

In the left-hand list marked Available Toolbar buttons, click the Separator list item. Then click the Add button.

 

 

8.                   

Repeat Step 7 for the Cut, Copy, and Paste buttons.

 

 

9.                   

Click the Close button in the Customize Toolbar dialog box.

Close Internet Explorer
