SECTION 3
Lesson 3.1: Favourite Basics

Internet Explorer is a unique program compared to other Web browsers like Netscape Navigator or Mozilla Firefox. It is unique because it is built into the core operation of the Windows family of operating systems.

In order to access your Favourites outside of Internet Explorer, simply open any window of Windows Explorer. (You can access Windows Explorer by double-clicking the My Computer icon on the desktop or accessing My Documents by clicking the Start button and then clicking My Documents.) You will see a Favourites menu at the top of this screen.

Simply click the Favourites menu, and then pick the Favourite you want to access from the list of available Web pages.
