Lesson 3.1: Favourite Basics

   

 

 

In the previous section we learned how to save a Web page for viewing at a later time when your computer is not connected to the Internet. The concept of a Favourite takes a saved Web page one step further.

 

When you create a Favourite, Internet Explorer gives you the option to make the Web page available offline. You can even specify how much of a Web page you want to save and how often Internet Explorer should update the content of the saved Web page(s) when your computer is connected to the internet. We will explore some advanced properties of offline content later in this section.
