Lesson 3.2: Creating and Using Favourites

   

 

Favourites make it easy to access a URL without having to remember the complete address. For example, today on the Internet it is possible to put up an online photo album. Imagine your rich Uncle Bob just finished a tour of the world and has a large online photo album available for public use.

 

You could save every picture in his photo album to your computer to look at later on, but this is extremely time consuming and will use a large portion of your hard drive space. So instead, you can make a Favourite that is merely a reference to the photo album so you can view the pictures whenever you like.
