Lesson 2.1: Accessing a Web Site

   

 

 

 

Nearly every Web site on the Internet features hyperlinks, which we know connect one Web page to another or one part of a Web page to another part of the same Web page. Normally a hyperlink is displayed like this. However, a hyperlink can be displayed in any colour and without underlining the text. (A picture can even be a hyperlink!)

 

Thankfully, your mouse cursor can usually tell what a hyperlink is. In most cases your cursor becomes a small hand icon () you know that you have found a hyperlink. Click the hyperlink to follow its path.
